At WBHG, Dr. Walsh embodies a relationship-driven, psychodynamic, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) approach with clients. He is a board-certified, fully licensed professional counselor in the District of Columbia and a licensed clinical professional counselor in Illinois, specializing in sex therapy and affirming care for the Queer community. Dr. Walsh uses the therapeutic alliance as the crucible for transformation, guiding clients in building new narratives.

In collaboration with Dr. Walsh, you’ll explore the deeper patterns shaping your life: attachment wounds, relational scripts, and internal parts:

• Co-creating session goals that honor your readiness and comfort.
• Engaging your internal system through IFS to dialogue with parts carrying pain, protection, and longing.
• Uncovering how early relationships and family dynamics set unconscious templates for intimacy and identity.
